Factions
Class President- It goes without saying that the Emperor's Daughter, Princess Magnificent, is unopposed in holding this position. Not only is her social standing literally untouchable, she also works hard to uphold the duties that her position requires. She is one of the top three martial artists in Zhen Zhou Academy, and her knowledge of tactics is likewise peerless.
Throne Loyalists- Led by X, a faction that supports Emperor Hu and the clans loyal to him, regardless of their actions. Their stance is that all actions by the Emperor are by definition correct, since he has been placed in his position to represent Heaven.
Closed Fists- Led by X, this faction believes that might makes right, simple as that. Martial Artists take all kind of inspiration from the natural world, so why should they turn their noses up at the kill-or-be-killed way of the jungle?
Thunder Sages- Led by X, this faction presses to integrate modern technology and learning into the Wulin. Firearms, modern medicine, computer-skills, and a motorcycle club!
Isolationists- Led by X, they just want to be left alone. They don't really have a faction goal, coming from different beliefs and backgrounds but not fitting in with the other factions. Individually, they would be picked off, so they band together for support rather than philosophical unity.
Traditionalists- Led by X, this is the faction to belong to if you prefer old-fashioned styles of dress, behavior, and lengthy tea ceremonies. They believe that the old ways are the best, and that the changes of modern times are destructive to a persons spirituality.
Golden Oxen- Led by X, this faction is often mocked by the others for their weak Kung-Fu combined with their positive outlook on life. They tend to be the group that gets stuck with most of the onerous jobs around campus, as well as being involved with various community outreach programs.
The Sagacious Owl Sages - Led by X, this faction consists of many Scholars, but also a few warriors. They are dedicated to dominate the Wulin through application of knowledge, and are always hungry for more of the same - studying various fighting styles to see how they fare against each other, developing countermeasures and so on.
