  • Story: Maximus was born on the Adonai coastal settlement of Neopolis and early on his psychic gift was detected, so the young boy was trained in the ways of the Wyrd. Maximus also displayed great interest in the Before-Time and naturally studied under the Wise Ones. All the while, he followed the body discipline of his community that valued physical health as much as mental stability. By 15, when he psychically bonded with his animal companion, Icarus, Maximus had already become an accomplished martial artist. Finally, at 18, he left Neopolis to wander the outside world, as all other young adults of his community did. Maximus should have returned after three years, but it has been seven years now and he still travels the wastelands and city-states. He feels there’s a lot yet to learn and many more to help. During his pilgrimage, Maximus had the chance to apply his knowledge of Before-Time tech to practical uses and developed an understanding of ancient mechanisms, as well as where to find them in the wild and how to barter for them. Now, he has joined with a band of wanderers like him and together they will change the world, bringing back the wonders of Before-Time.
