On winds of rain and rivers blue
 you came to us in need.
 When stars alight o'er ribboned night
 to Araw we were bade heed;
 throughout the veins of blessed Arda
 like blood you always flowed,
 and heard our cries, then merciful
 our island, broad, you towed.
 Now children set we, on your back
 and ask you yet once more
