Little did the world know, however, that the Thunderbolts were actually wolves in sheeps' clothing &mdash; supervillains ''disguised'' as new heroes &mdash; the latest incarnation of Baron Helmut Zemo's Masters of Evil!</div>

<u>Thunderbolts: Forked Lightning</u> is a play-by-post campaign set in the Marvel Universe, using (a version of) TSR's <u>'''Marvel Superheroes'''</u> system (aka "FASERIP"). It is essentially a "Year One" reimagining of the original <u>Thunderbolts</u> comic run by Kurt Busiek and Mark Bagley, postulating a different roster of villains recruited by Baron Zemo for his scheme.
