Started with the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons_Basic_Set D&D Basic Set] during middle school; moved up to AD&D (e.g., 1E) during high school & college. Had a long hiatus in playing after college (about 15 years). Started a PBEM version of my campaign in the 2010's; that ran for a few years, but life got busy, and it petered out (totally my fault, felt bad about leaving the players hanging)...")
