==GALIA==

Galia is the most important kingdom in Dominios, the heir of the Ancient Empire. It is composed mostly by humans, with a few halfling settlements in the countryside, and it is ruled by the wise king Auriok III.

Located at the west of Dominios, Galia’s area is very large. In the central region there are many miles of fertile plains, running side-by-side with the course of the river Torbruk. These favorable farming conditions have turned Galia the biggest producer of grains in the world, which sells its excess production to other kingdoms, even including the reclusive elvish kingdom of [[AFeSF:_AFReinos#LENNORIEN|Lennorien]].

This availability of food, in tandem with the fact that Galia is a secure place to live, has allowed a big increase in population, which concentrates in the cities. The [[AFeSF:_GaliaCapital|Capital]], Galia’s center of power, is the biggest and most important city of Dominios.

To the west, the plains turn to hills, as they approach the neighboor dwarven kingdom of [[AFeSF:_AFReinos#HAMMERHEIM|Hammerheim]]. This area was densely forested before, but the increasing encroachment by the human population was responsible for the cutting down of the trees.

Since trade is so important for Galia’s economy, cities like [[AFeSF:_GaliaMalphoros|Malphoros]], located at the far north end of the kingdom, are becoming more important, as they offer a resting place for weary merchants traveling in trade caravans.
