==Recent Nights==

It has been four months since my exaltation, and the experience has had far deeper changes than I would have earlier expected. For one, I keep having these very bizarre dreams. I see people and places I have never before seen, yet they carry a certain weight of recollection. It is, to be honest, rather surreal. Most of these dreams are enjoyable, like sitting down with a nostalgic friend and thinking of yesteryear. But, then there are the other nights.

Some nights I get caught up dreams so similar to these others, but somehow off. Last night I dreamed about watching two children sleep. It was just as vivid as these other memories, but somthing about it... it was just ''off''. I cannot explain it even so much that I really understand it myself, but there was something nightmarish about the whole thing, and I don't even know why. Perhaps this is some side effect of the exaltation. Exalts must just have odd dreams. I have a feeling it must be something to do with the way we sleep, because I only have these nightmares when I sleep alone. Is this some urging of the exaltation to be more involved with people? or to reproduce? For now, I shall simply have to make myself more available to hospitality of the fairer sex. One must move with the winds of change, I suppose.
