==Character History== Arman hails from a small town in northern Albion, 2nd son of the local locksmith. Unlike his older brother who was expected to carry on his father's trade, young Arman as the 2nd son was left to his own devices and soon fell into bad company and began getting himself into a whole lot of trouble with the local magistrate's office. Things came to a head after one particularly serious incident, when a young squire from the local castle was almost killed by the teenager in a fight. Upon the intervention of their family priest who saw martial potential in the lad if only he could be taught discipline and the right values, young Arman, instead of being incarcerated, was instead sent south together with the local lord's retinue to serve as a stable boy while the lord participated in the Crusades against the Ta'ashim kingdoms. There in the south, where men battled for their God, for their own lives, and for profit, Arman was finally in his element. The young lad proved handy with a weapon and possessed of courage and combat instincts unusual for one of his age. He was very soon moved from his stable cleaning duties to frontline combat duty and began serving as a man at arms in his lord's company. It's been 6 years since he left his home. Arman, now a young man of 20, finally returns to the land of his birth, a veteran of the Crusades. He returns to seek out his family from whom he had been separated for so many years, and to carve out a place for himself among the sword-bearing gentry of the land...
