==Background== Drospin is a remote scion of House Tormanos, affiliated with the metalworker's guild of Pavis. However, he is the third son of a cadet branch, and as such has very minor prospects for advancement. He dutifully works towards enriching his clan and furthering their political goals, primarily on somehow stopping the Imperial armourers offering cut-price surplus military armour and weapons for sale. As such, he is a bitter enemy of 'Honest' Harmonius. Drospin worships either insular or open deities, and as such has very little in the way of religious rivalries. Drospin is far more political than religious, although he still has the automatic distaste and loathing of Chaos that most right-minded people have. His family is connected to Dorasar's family through a tenuous link on the mother's side, not enough to draw the attention of the Imperials rooting out royal bloodlines, and he has a better connection to some Real City families. Drospin's home is a large building two doors down from Gimpy's on Salt Street. He doesn't 'own' it as much as is the permanent manager of his clan's interest in it, but it is how he draws his income. The lower floor is given over to craftsmen, and is quite noisy during the day. Drospin has served as an officer of a minor guild company, the troops drawn from journeymen and apprentices and the officers from the urban oligarchy. While the company was primarily heavy infantry, Drospin fought mounted as befits an officer. Drospin is of average height, but heavily muscled and lean. Although only twenty one summers old, his face is tanned and weathered from his years of soldiering on the plains and in The Rubble. His hair is inky black and cut square at the neck, and his eyebrows are also thick and black. When he grows his beard in the field, he keeps it cut short before it can curl. His face is angular, with pronounced cheekbones and a long jaw with a highly mobile mouth. He is quick to smile, but also quick to frown. On high holy days he shaves his jaw and paints his body zebra colours, staying that way until the sacred time is over or his ritual period is completed. He is dressed in his under armour quilted padding when in the field if not in full harness, but adopts rich and costly clothes to declare his status when in Pavis. Drospin's personality is dependent on who he is among. When in the field and in the company of soldiers he is loyal, friendly and boisterous, although his poor head for drink often gets him into trouble. Among strangers he is aloof and suspicious, and among possible enemies or rivals he is icy and brittle in his dealings. Drospin is loyal to his friends beyond good sense, his loyalty transcends laws and he will shameless abuse his position to help those to whom he has an attachment. As he is not nearly important enough to have a retinue, he transfers the affinity bond to his friends and treats them as close partners. If Drospin is ever betrayed his vengeance knows no boundaries.
