=Virtus, the Dominus of Gladiators= '''Appearance:''' '''History:''' '''Affiliation:'''Code of the Angels ==Attributes== *Aspect 5 ''Exemplar'' '''6 AMPs''' *Domain 0 ''Pawn'' '''5 DMPs''' *Realm 0 ''Citizen'' '''5 RMPs''' *Spirit 1 ''Candleflame'' '''5 SMPs''' ==Gifts== *Immortal 6 CPs ==Misc.== ===Handicaps=== *Restriction: Cannot Use Modern Technology-This is ''extremely frustrating'' when you, master of mortal combat, are routinely bested by 12-year-olds at Mortal Kombat, not to mention being unable to access most amenities of your own Chancel without an attendant. *Restriction: Ceremonial-Virtus is required to keep the Chancel's garden in pristine condition. ===Bonds=== The Warrior Spirit (4 points) - Most of all, Virtus respects the will to rise against a grand challenge. To watch a mortal struggle against impossible odds tooth and nail is his greatest delight. His Estate (3 points) - The Essence of the Gladiator is a desperate and cruel trade, blood for coin, the precious for the mundane. Duelists fight for honor. A gladiator fights only for survival. His Imperator (3 points) His Garden (3 points) - Long ago, Virtus accidentally demolished a garden much cherished by Lord Entropy, one that had been painstakingly cultivated over 208 years. Annoyed, Entropy took Virtus before the Locust Court and decreed Sevenfold Vengeance upon him. For 1456 years, Virtus was imprisoned and tormented, 208 years of fire, 208 years of freezing, etc. The last 208 years he was charged to toil ceaselessly in a garden; each year it was judged against the one he destroyed, and if it was found lacking (which it, naturally, always was), it would be trampled and rooted up by giant boars. In the very last year, it was unworthy as always, but in an uncharacteristic display of generosity, Lord Entropy let it be, moving it to Imperious Ix and giving Virtus the task of watching over it. Virtus does not know what will happen when the garden he is tending surpasses the one he was imprisoned for destroying. Perhaps Entropy will take it back as payment. The Code of the Angels (3 points) - The Code served Virtus very well while he was imprisoned, helping him retain his will as his Domain grew away from him and was eroded by outside forces. Charles Madsen, Anchor (2 points) - Mild-mannered IT head of a textiles firm, Charlie is weak-willed, easily influenced, and basically anti-embodies the Warrior Spirit. Virtus' complete contempt for him is tempered only by the necessity of having a tech on call. Kostandin, Anchor (2 points) - An Albanian-born pitfighter turned hitman who still engages in the occasional life-or-death bout, despite being quite wealthy. Charming, deadly and bugfuck insane. Virtus loves him dearly. ===Villa Virtus=== Virtus has two places that are known as his. The first, more common-knowledge one is his palatial apartment in an upper section of the massive building that houses the Senate. Here, there are the trappings required of a successful gladiator; silk cushions, stone columns, a well-stocked harem of veiled maidens, etc. There are many more modern conveniences as well, which are useless to Virtus unless he is accompanied by his Divine Concierge to operate them for him. This lady is chosen not by her technical skill so much as by her charm, grace, and ability to make his lack of understanding look less foolish. His other home is in the garden, of course. Just a small wooden building with an attached greenhouse, tool shed and a small library of horticultural manuals. [[Fruit_of_the_Vine:Main_Page|Main Page]]
