I have learned so much about the ways and means and technology of the Heart, even as I try to emulate their stalwart toughness. Plus, they smell of tannin, fine malt, and broken hopes. Their almost hive mind and bizarre obsession with order makes it nigh impossible to pry loose the secrets I need.
