==Description==

Whilst it is not physically imposing, it's gaunt and haunting demeanour send chills through the spines of all who gaze upon it. Few have ever seen it and managed to survive to tell the tale, and even those that do vary their accounts on the actual details. Some say its eyes are the blackest pits of the nine hells, others say they are burning red infernos making you feel a great burning at a mere glance. Whilst its actual physical description is not truly known, the items he wears are standard across all the tales. Its robes appear to be made from fine bones, woven together to form a tapestry of death, flowing and constantly changing pattern. It always wears a crown made of the blackest metal; its featureless surface appears to suck the very life and light from the surrounding air and sucks it into its void. The final detail is the staff, of a single bone, allegedly a bone from a fallen god, and topped with a huge obsidian stone through which the creature channels its dark magic.

==Personality==

A ruthless and vicious leader, the liche lord rules with an iron fist, only accepting subjects that it can control with its magic and destroying any other creature it encounters. It has a well known vindictive streak, frequently raising its fallen foes only to task them with the slaughter of their own friends and family whilst they are powerless to resist his overbearing power. Before the battle on the red ice flats, the Lich Lord felt it was invincible, frequently taking on entire regiments single handily, and always refusing any form of guard or retinue. However since his fall on those planes, he is now a much wiser and more cautious tactician and warrior, although it still enjoys striking down it's foes with its staff and watching the carnage caused by its minions first hand.

==Background==

Little is known about the origins of the Liche Lord, although he is almost certainly a foreigner to the Suderax upon arrival in their lands it soon became known as it carved its kingdom out of the blood of its neighbours. The war it raged against the people of Suderax climaxed in his slaying upon the battlefield and it wasn't for over thirty years before it was seen once again and fortunately once again slain, although at a great cost. It is believed that the Liche Lord will return to ravage the lands of the Suderax once again soon and they are unlikely to stop it this time and once he has conquered the northern nations he will no doubt march his army south. The Liche Lord is a scourge on the people of Suderax, his coming is a sign of certain destruction and merely the mention of his name in any of the villages of the Suderax will create widespread panic and fear.

==Lieutenants==

Almost as feared as he is, the lieutenants of the Liche Lord are seen as an embodiment of his will, whilst at the height of it's last reign it was rumoured there were as many as ten lieutenants, all but four were slain or fled it's service during it's last fall.
