The letter itself was dated from 1868, and is addressed from the Tower of London (placing it near to the time in which Rabbit was supposedly still engrossed in his studies of the famous Dr. Bermuda).<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;''... I have bent much of my spare time towards investigating the effects of typhoid fever, and I have come to suspect that your continued ill health is more likely the result of the calomel treatments that you receieved.
