==Heroes’ Knoll==
As much art as honorarium, a small hill in the park abutting the reservoir
has become known as Heroes' Knoll. Since the 1960s, statues of Freedom
City’s deceased heroes have dotted this hill, even if other memorials exist
elsewhere. The first statue honored the Bluesman, followed swiftly by statues
of Sergeant Shrapnel, the Human Tank and Gunner, and others over
the years. The most recent addition is Raul Diaz's statue of the Centurion,
mirroring the massive Sentry Statue in Riverside Park.
