==Overview== Patriarch of House Strophos, Laurent Strophos is a man in charge of a mid-tier (but growing) noble house. He has a palace-holding in the spire of Hive Sebellius, as well as extensive holdings throughout the Calixis Sector. The Strophos fortune sits on various trade contracts that acquire munitions and armor and distribute it to needy campaigns of the Imperial Guard. They also have a vast side-business providing resupply services to trade ships in way-station systems on the way to Scintilla. Arbiter Haxtes’ Inquisitor has an old connection to Laurent Strophos, and refers to the Inquisitor as ‘That Old War-Dog’; though he’s never explained what that phrase meant. Lord Strophos is grateful to the quick investigation into the disappearance of Saia Strophos. He respects the Inquisition, both because he has kept his house on the correct side of Imperial Law, and because watching other houses be taken down for heresy is good for business.
