Editing Mari's Friends (section)

=Mama=
An Earth-Aspected Dragon-Blooded, formerly an Immaculate monk. She was seconded to the Wyld Hunt, but when her daughter drew the Second breath as a Celestial Exalted, she was forced to slay her. In despair, "Mama" severed her ties with the Immaculate Order and retired to a village to live out the rest of her life in peace.

Some years later, while fleeing from the Wyld Hunt, Mari stumbled into the village where Mama lived. Mama took Mari in and cared for her... at least until the Wyld Hunt caught up. Mama told Mari to hide, using herself as a sacrifice to distract the Hunt in the hopes that they would leave without lingering overlong. Of course, Mari couldn't bear to leave Mama in the lurch, and she emerged to rescue her benefactor. Between the two of them, they managed to defeat the Hunt; but Mama knew that the young Solar could not stay, and sent Mari on.

Before they parted ways, however, Mama gave Mari two of a set of three rings, which would point the way to each other. Mama wore the third, and promised that she'd find her way to Mari in due time.
