Editing Motivational Posters:Template (section)

=Motivational Posters: the Format for New Entries=

In order to make this a useful project with minimal conflicts, please follow this format:

===1: Upload the poster picture to the Wiki===

In order to prevent people from overwriting each other, use this format for the file name:
 MPost(post #)-(summary).(format)
As an example, the very first poster:
 MPost1-Cthulhu.jpg

===2. Add meta-info for it===

It's easiest if we simply put information about the image right on the image desc section.
Be sure to include the following:
* A description, which others can use to find this poster with a search...
 Description: Cthulhu, perched on rocks by the seaside. "1d6 investigators per round"
* Any notes about the image.
 The very first poster that started the thread, posted waaaaay back on May 19.
 Inspired by The Ghost of Bink Pulling's Warcraft poster in Other Games Open.
* Credits--both the poster itself and the image/text, if known.
 Poster created by ThomasT.
 Image by ???.
* (optional) Add a meme category to it. Add a tag in the form of <nowiki>[[Category: Motivational Posters: X]]</nowiki> where X is one of the following
: - [[:Category: Motivational Posters: Awesome|Awesome]] - [[:Category: Motivational Posters: Crossovers|Crossovers]] - [[:Category: Motivational Posters: Cthulhu|Cthulhu]] - [[:Category: Motivational Posters: Exalted|Exalted]] - [[:Category: Motivational Posters: Familiars|Familiars]] - [[:Category: Motivational Posters: Tangency|Tangency]]

:Not all posters will belong to a category, so don't feel obligated to add one.

===3. Link the display page to the appropriate index===

For now, we're going to do pages of 100 posts at a time, collected into groups of 10 at a time (i.e., 1000 posts' worth).  Since the Wiki already has a "gallery" function, we'll use that:

Note that the Wiki does thumbnailing automatically, which is nice.

So, let's link up the page we made to the posts 1-100 page:
