==Background== Dysis was one of those unfortunate souls who's parents, when all is said and done, shouldn't really have been married, but made certain unfortunate choices in college and found that they really didn't have any choice. This isn't to say that they were abusive or anything, because they weren't. But neither did they love each other or Dysis. And so it was a cold household that she grew up within, one with no real examples of positive emotions. This is why when Dysis eventually went to gradeschool, she had no idea how to make friends, or really positively interact with, well, anyone. It can be said she made a few efforts to in that direction in the early days, but they came to nothing, and so by the end of the year she had settled into the not entirely pleasant but at least stable position of class bully. At least that way, they had to react to her. Things continued in this fashion for the next few years, until the end of middle school dawned upon her class. It was then that she… well, greatly underestimated a certain individuals reaction to her bullying their younger sibling. She really was not expecting to be framed for an out and out crime. That was almost the end for her, when something she never would have ever expected happened. Several of her most common bullying targets stepped up and spoke up about how she was no where near the location at the time she was accused of, of how they’d seen her somewhere entirely else at the time, and most importantly of how she didn’t do it. Eventually the investigation, in response to these claims, found evidence of the frame job. But if those she hadn’t spent most of her lives causing pain too hadn’t spoken up, Dysis probably would have been throne in juvie. She just couldn’t understand why they’d spoken up instead of getting rid of her. It was their response when she finally gave up trying to understand and just asked them that changed her life.
