==Peter of the Blood==
Formerly an assassin of some repute, he was crippled by a rival and fell into a black despair. He spent his considerable fortune of blood money in search of a cure. He eventually found a rather shady mystic in a hidden shop in India. He was given the choice, a deal of rather dubious origins. Like most in these stories, he took the deal and was restored after a fashion. The body is infused with power of the creature who brokered the deal, molding his flesh as he willed it and granting him both its unnatural appetites and current weaknesses. He soon came to revel in his new form and was amongst the most skilled assassin's in the world.
When he wasn't being stopped cold by the heroic Magi.

Not normally one to care who rules the planet, Dr. Destruction tricked him into a bargain to aid the resistance and he cannot renege on a deal. It is no longer his nature. Besides, no one cares what you do to aliens.
