Goals: To win fame and respect for her Kung Fu, and, eventually, to impress the Imperial Court; to use her fame and influence to help correct the treatment of women in Shen Zhou, as well as to raise public awareness of strong women. On a more personal level, to master the Unfolding Glory style, and to revenge her father’s death.

Brightly-Burning Sky is tall, for a woman, with scarlet hair and dark eyes; she has an elegance of movement and a regal presence, and is lovely to behold. She dresses in scarlet and gold, elaborate loose-sleeved outfits, dresses or tunics and pants as the mood takes her. When in combat, she has a fierce grace that makes her all the more striking.
Brightly-Burning Sky and her brother, Painted Fox, were raised by their mother—her husband had died, killed by a member of the Hell Clan, when the children were very young. Their mother had discovered within herself the strength to support her children on her own, and eventually joined the Jade Dragon Society as a result; Brightly-Burning Sky and Painted Fox were initiated into the Society as well. Brightly-Burning Sky learned Unfolding Glory kung fu, and studied the arts of debate, philosophy, and politics as well before leaving the Society to attempt to better herself and righteously further the Society’s philosophy of female equality.  Painted Fox learned with her and trained with her, as convinced of the rightness of the Jade Dragon Society's cause as she.
Sky is, by and large, a good-humored woman, although fierce in battle or debate; she takes her causes seriously, but attempts not to do the same thing with herself.  Nevertheless, as most members of the Wulin, she takes pride in her skill even as she seeks to improve it; she relishes the chance to prove herself against worthy opponents.
