==Rusko Calven==

===Description===

Rusko Calven is a giant of a man, over 6 and a half feet tall and almost as wide he is an imposing presence in a room.  He wears a thick brown beard and bushy curly hair, normally worn underneath a bell helmet.  His propensity for plentiful food and ale has given him a good paunch but his muscle underneath is like iron, he can crush a man with his bare hands.

===Personality===

As loud as he is tall, Rusko is a hearty, good-natured fellow who has seen too much death to treat any day as anything other than a gift.  He enjoys joking, drinking, women and a good scrap.  He can be obnoxious, rude and overbearing and there aren’t many people who his presence doesn’t grate on after a while but the larger-than-life guard is a true and loyal friend to his guildbrothers.

===Background===

A Sergeant in the Protection Guild, Rusko has been at this game for a long time.  Port Blackheart born and bred he’s led a rough life, the son of a poor dock worker he soon had to learn to fight dirty as he tried to survive in the docks.  Once it became apparent he was gifted with a great fighter’s physique, he concentrated on honing his fighting skills.  At 16 he left Port Blackheart for a time and served 5 years on the Southwall, fighting the worst the Waste had to throw at him.  When he came back he was more scarred and more dangerous than ever.

Despite being pursued by many of the less savoury factions of the city, Rusko chose to work for the Protection Guild and has spent the last 15 years keeping visitors to the city safe.  For a price of course.
