==Game Mechanics== The following rules came from [http://rpggeek.com/thread/657271/sabaac a post on RPGGeek] as posted by Bossko B., with some modifications for the D6 rules. If you have no Sabacc deck use regular playing cards, remember to include the Jokers. Deal cards online here: [http://www.random.org/playing-cards/ Random.ORG's Playing Card Dealer] *Red cards are positive numbers. *Black cards are negative numbers. *Jack=11, Queen=12, King=13 & Ace=14, Jokers=0 (the Idiot card). ===Order of Play=== #Determine how many credits each Gambler is willing to put up. #Deal each character 3 cards from your Sabacc deck. #Roll you characters Gambling skill. #Add the skill roll and the card total together and consult the following '''Sabaac Results''' table. ====Sabaac Results==== Highest (best) possible result to lowest: #''Idiot's Array'' = dealt a 2, 3, and the Idiot Card (Joker) #''Pure Sabacc'' = dealt a total of 23 #''Pure Sabacc'' = Gambling roll is 23 exactly #*Note that a player that gets to 23 and has exploding 6s through Force Points may simply stop at 23 automatically; that's the benefit of spending Force Points! #''Pure Sabacc'' = Gambling roll + cards = 23 #''Sabacc'' = highest total of cards + Gambling roll #''Bomb Out'' = dealt a total of 0 #''Bomb Out'' = cards + Gambling roll = 0 ''Bomb Out:'' this is an automatic loss and the loser must pay DOUBLE (the "pay double" part of this rule usually only applies in casinos). ===Cheating=== Cheating can be done as normal: *If one person cheats, he automatically wins, but must roll Gambling opposed by all other player's Gambling to keep it undetected. **If the house notices the cheat (the house has Gambling 5D), you get the boot and lose all credits in the pot. *If there are multiple cheaters, they roll separately to see who wins, and then again vs. all other players to see if they keep their cheat undetected. **The winner of the cheat against multiple other cheaters does NOT have to re-roll against all the other players; spoils to the victor (hopefully)!
