==== Background ====
Young, pretty, shy girl from a martial arts family

At one point the Otori dojo was on of the great martial art houses in Japan. The style of the Otori's was Kinuna Kisu No Taiyou (Silken Kiss of the Sun) a style that focused on disarming and non-fatally disabling opponents. However the family dwindled over the years, members lost in various misadventures, and when Renmon's father died in a car accident, she was the last of the Otori blood.

Renmon is a pretty girl, who does not dress in any Lolita Style, or cosplays, gets decent marks, and until recently, did not belong to any school clubs. She brings her own lunches to school and has few friends because she is shy.

Untill recently she spent most of her time at home, with her father, helping at the Dojo. Soon after his death her mother(Satsuko Otori) closed the Dojo, saying that sword fighting was disreputable. Satsuko also pressured Renmon to sell the land the dojo was on as it was worth a fortune. THe Otori family was still wealthy, but Satsuko wanted more.

Renmon refused, which led Satsuko to start treating her cruelly. Where once home and Dojo had been her sanctuary, now it was empty of peace and only promised punishment. Where once she had spent little time at school, now she was there as much as she could be, joining the kendo club to giver her a reason to. While shy, being very pretty and a skilled fighter has made her some friends and admirers amongst the student bodies.

Renmon does not know what to do. It seems that there is an end of the Otori Dojo, the longer it stays closed the less chance that any students or instructors will return when she can finally open it again.

For now, she does her best at school, trying to overcome her shyness.

She also has a secret she tries to keep. She is a good artist, and likes to draw manga, mostly hentai manga. She takes a guilty pleasure in such art, and is worried someone might find out.

Kagematsu Reiji: A star of the school kendo club – Since she started attending the kendo club she and Reiji have become friendly, at least he sympathies with her over the Dojo closing.

Kojimaru Ogata: While she would never admit it, she thinks she likes Ogata.

Hayashi-sensei: Before she became sick, the principal visited her home because her homeroom teacher was worried there was something wrong with her family life. That made Renmon decide that Hayashi-sensei was the greatest person.
