Hilde is one of the proud few orbital warriors who takes on challenges when diplomacy and horse-trading has failed, deploying in shuttles and mecha for the small-scale combat that is the way noble disputes are settled. She's been serving that way since she was an apprentice warrior at 16. She's far less blood and thunder than most nobles. The environment alone can kill you in a dozen ways in space, so she's far more thoughtful and quiet than the typical viking on the vids. Not that the Spear of Tyr gets on the vids much.
