My name is Lihua, in my language that means Elegant, for my parents thought that I would be a concubine to the wealthy and powerful, as was fitting for a daughter. But long ago one of our ancestors betrayed us and slept with a beast, and days before I was to server my family I changed into a monster.

It was most shaming.

However, there were monks who took me away, paying my family for me, which helped with some of the shame and I could only hope my Ancestors would forgive me.

The monks were also of the blood of wolves, of the Stargazers tribe, and then took me to others, who taught me of my duties to the goddess Gaia, and how I must fight those who had stepped outside of their roles in the great bureaucracy of the heavens, and to uncover their crimes and ensure they were punished and made to take up their proper roles, or destroyed.

It was after I had been with them only for a few weeks that I had a dream, of my people as slaver, chaining the earth with Iron Bands, held prisoner by a Black Dragon. I saw a mountain of skulls and a voice calling for me.

When I told my teachers this they said I must travel to a far off land, to help my people and fight the Dragon.

I did not want to go. but they said I must.

So I took passage with young women of less fortunate circumstances than I, who were being sent to this land of Devils to be concubines.

Once I arrived in a city called San Francisco I killed the white devil how would have made the woman simple prostitutes, but I knew that was not my task. I could kill all the pimps in this city, and it would not change things.

My future lay to the east, so I followed the calling.
