===Notes=== This character is highly vulnerable until she uses one or more of her magical spells to grant herself some degree of megadamage protection. While she is capable of inflicting a substantial amount of melee damage, a single point of megadamage will destroy her. The character has an enormous variety of magical powers to select from, which may prove to be overwhelming for newer players that are not very conversant with the specific powers. While I will be preparing extensive notes for each character, until the player becomes fluent with the basic function of each power he or she will not be able to fully utilize them. I expect there to be situations where the player will comment that they have just found the perfect power for a situation that has already resolved. That can be very frustrating. A couple powers that I do want to highlight: The character can use superior metamorphosis to effectively conceal her alien nature against all but those sensitive to the supernatural and magic. The character possesses some healing powers, but she is intended to be a highly effective infiltrator with superior melee abilities. Using invisibility, reduce self, and mystic portal she should be able to enter virtually anywhere undetected. She can use giant and super-healing to transform herself into a juggernaut of destruction. She can also act in a counter-magic role, using dessicate supernatural and negate magic. Ashara is a highly flexible character that will suit a wide range of play styles. She is, however, required to be female. The Shing have powers that are gender specific, so anyone that chooses to play Ashara will be playing a female character. Similarly, the character's alignment is non-negotiable. She is quite capable of leaving Earth with minimal effort. Only in the interest of pursuing an agenda, in this case saving lives and protecting freedom, does she have a good reason to stay.
