== Toad Style == (A System Topic) Destiny Cost: 10 Uncommon Jade Chi Martial Art Style Description Signature: This style involves a strange and frankly undignified four-legged squatting posture and puffing up like a toad, although the posture does get more upright with experience. At high levels, the image of a frighteningly belligerent toad may flicker around the user. Type: Brutal (Unarmed Only) Default Critical Success: Down or Stun. 1: Poison Fears Me (1 point): Ooyang Feng was a master of poisons before he created this style. His increased understanding of this poisonous animal only increased his abilities. * Jade Chi may always be used to heal damage caused by poisons * Poison never causes Chi Flow loss * User may count levels of Toad Style Skill as increases to Chi and/or Rank for purposes of determining which poisons they may attempt to expel. 2: Toad Hop (2 points): By taking on the posture and movements of a toad, one accesses dreadful powers: * User adds their Jade Chi modifier in feet to their base movement, although this must always be described in terms of jumping or hopping * User adds Jade Chi modifier to Speed and Damage * Critical attacks are also Disorienting * User adds (Toad Style Skill -2) dice as bonus Damage dice * Toad Style Skill 3+: May spend 1 additional Chi to add Jade Chi modifier to armour for the round * Toad Style Skill 4+: May spend 2 additional Chi to convert attack to an Area Attack affecting all targets within Jade Chi yards in range DESTINY COST * Bonus: you receive a free Toad Style Skill equal to the level of the highest technique youβve learned. ---- [[WotGLadegard]]
