That one hurts. :;Clinging to What's Left :*0MP, create a "zone of stability" 1/Chapter :*1MP, create a "zone of stability" a second or later time in the same Chapter :*2MP, create a "zone of stability" a second or later time in the same Scene :*4MP, create a "zone of stability" a second or later time within minutes :You've promised not to lose anything again like you lost the world, and you meant it. You can create a "zone of stability" in a small area (the size of a house, perhaps) around yourself, that prevents any change from affecting that area. This stops both outright attacks and more subtle changes of mind or changes of state. Any Intention that involves changing something inside of your zone is met by an Obstacle equal to your Arc rating. Additionally, any Miracles attempting to change things within your zone face an Auctoritas Magister equal to your Arc. This doesn't keep people from moving around or interacting within your zone, but leaving or entering does face the Obstacle and Auctoritas as described. :It is worth mentioning that not all change is bad, and that simply trying to ignore the constant unrelenting grind of the outside world is unlikely to lead to a very fulfilled existence.
