Growing up on the family farm, Brixton trains from an early age to compete as a strongman. He keeps growing stronger and stronger, though, far beyond normal human limits and any notion of fair competition, and eventually decides there are more important uses for his talents than sports or farm work. The cause of his superhuman abilities is unknown, but he grew up reading his dad's giant stash of old comic books and the popular conceit that superpowers are just evolution jumping ahead kinda stuck with him; it's inspiring in a way, the notion that these now amazing abilities might some day be as ordinary as feet.
