===Lakkep===
The northeastern city. It serves as a shield against the wilds of the north, but also as a source of food from the fishing fleets on the Gray Lake. Great wagons filled with barrels of live fish travel the Northern Royal Road between Lakkep and Scarpkep. It is ruled by Knight-Commander Sir Havan, another cousin of the king. He maintains a council of advisors, drawn from the different interests within the city, but reserves ultimate authority to himself.

Approximately 4000 people live in Lakkep, not all of them voluntarily. It is a common practice to sentence lawbreakers from across Fourlan to serve aboard the fishing fleets/

A large garrison of soldiers is kept at Lakkep to fend off orcs and other monsters that spill out of the badlands to the south.

Sir Havan is a rather sarcastic individual, who likes to keep his men, and his subjects, a bit off balance at all times. Which doesn't make him particularly popular.
