===Appearance===
:Klud towers over most other species at 2.25 (7 feet 4 inches) meters and 250 kilograms (550 pounds). Its uniform includes non-standard metal bands to improve integrity and avoid tearing, these do not provide any armor or protection but are a necessity due to the huge bulk of the Lurian. Klud has a large quantity of hair on the back of it's head. The hair is think and spiny like a cross between hedgehog spines and tumbleweed.

===History===
:Klud left Lurian space 32 years ago and did odd jobs for Ferengi traders before getting transport to Earth and joining Starfleet 21 years ago. Klud took to medical sciences and served as a ship's doctor for the following 16 years. Klud doesn't normally associate with other Lurians and seems to prefer not talking about its past before Starfleet but it will tell long dramatic tales about its time in Starfleet over a round of drinks if properly encouraged.

===Pastimes===
:Klud is obsessive about medical practice and how to understand all medical risks and solutions for any known or unknown species. Klud creates and stockpiles replica organs using the replicator that can be quickly gene sequenced and switched out for all species in the crew as a back-up plan to serious injury. 

:Klud also cycled through a variety of sports in their academy days but found that its size was not conducive to most of its preferences. Eventually it settled on the human sport fencing. Klud isn't spectacularly good at fencing but it is remarkably agile for a creature as large as a grizzly bear.
