==Backstory==
: Snok was born to a decently-sized clan a few miles from Neverwinter. He was a little frailer than most of his clanmates, but made up for it in being a little more learned than them. The colony would sometimes sneak out and steal trinkets from nearby settlements, some of which were books. Snok learned to read and write Common from these books, as well as miscellaneous subjects that helped contribute to some of the clan's defences.
:One day, his clan collected a wizard's spellbook, and after months of reverse-engineering their notes, he was able to conjure a bolt of fire. With this newfound power, he vowed to set out and learn the secrets of transmutation, so that he could return and oversee his clan as a dragon, lord and protector. Many of his clansmates were skeptical of his proclamations, but they wished him well and saw him off.
