==Battle Tactics== Duncan is a fast and agile fighter who prefers to enter combat with the advantage of surprise. Typically, he accomplishes this with smoke and flash yo-yos. He enjoys flaunting his skill over a group of lesser, untrained adversaries, and will take the opportunity to demonstrate his flashiest (and riskiest) attacks and maneuvers. Against powerful or numerically overwhelming enemies, his vanity takes a back seat to survival. In these situations, he will employ more conventional hit and run techniques that leave him minimally exposed to return strikes. In the rare event that he realizes a fight has become unwinnable, he will drop the aforementioned smoke or flash yo-yo to cover his retreat. Duncan's weapons are inherently non-lethal, and he will go to considerable lengths to avoid killing an antagonist. His current arsenal includes: Bola yo-yo: Timing is important with this yo-yo, which pops off its string when thrown at a target. The two halves then separate, linked by another string. Used for tripping or binding fleeing enemies. Flash yo-yo: Contains a powerful one-use halogen bulb. Used for blinding antagonists. Grappling yo-yo: Built with pop-out hooks for climbing wood or masonry, and a powerful electromagnet for clinging to metal. A surprisingly rapid means of transportation. Shock yo-yo: Contains a high-voltage capacitator capable of delivering a powerful electrical shock on contact. Smoke yo-yo: Delivers a cloud of thick black smoke. Used when stealth or confusion is important. Striker yo-yo: Duncan's "standard" weapon is made of carbon-fiber composite, weighted with lead inserts. The string is 500-test monofilament (not to be confused with monomolecular filament).
