===The Great War===
Leon disobeyed his family and ran off to join the army as soon as the call was made for recruits. As a soldier, he quickly became accustomed to rifles and was one of the best shots in his platoon, allowing him access to Sniper training. The rest of Leon's war was spent sleeping in a dug-out during the day, and sitting watching the enemy line during the night - looking out for enemy snipers, attempts to make it across No Man's Land, or just taking pot-shots at exposed enemy soldiers. By the end of the war, Leon scored 157 confirmed kills. After the fighting was over, Leon was discharged from the army and returned home to find his father on his deathbed. Leon inherited the family estate a few days later.
