=== Death's Door ===

We are using the Death's Door rules for this campaign.  

* When a character reaches 0 hp or less, they are unconscious, knocked down, and bleeding or otherwise continuing to take damage from whatever would or effect last damaged them at the rate of -1 hp/melee round.
* If another character moves to bandage their wounds or otherwise provide basic first aid, they will no longer incur this additional damage/round, but they will remain at whatever hp value they were at when the aid was provided.  
* These characters can have healing spells cast on them, potions administered, etc., which will increase their hp up to a value of 1, but no further.
* At this point, the character will be conscious, but can only move at 25% max rate, cannot communicate coherently, and generally will need to be aided for almost any action.  
* This condition will persist until the character receives at least a full day of complete rest (no actions beyond talking briefly) to include normal meals and sleep.  
* After this point, further healing can be administered to the character with normal effect.
