==Character Backstory==

Briar was 54 when Carran's march to the Hand came. They were reluctant to leave their home, but they were a soldier and served as they were ordered.

They remained a soldier in the decades that followed, protecting the Sinansian for their people. Seventy years ago the Creed of Carran showed their hand and Briar found themselves wondering if they still have a place, a purpose. They left the Sinansian, and in recent years have been working as a caravan guard which is where they met Skaati.
