In the last two years, he has been accumulating as much information as he could on the Star Khan and the Grue.  

* '''Paul "Pal" Palinski''', a smuggler, fixer, and all-around deal-broker hooked up with the Russian, Sicilian, and Jewish [[Wikipedia:mafia|mafia]].  Despite his unsavoury connections, Pal somehow manages to stay clean himself, and will often turn down deals without giving a reason.  His sense of business &mdash; or perhaps more arcane, unadvertised abilities &mdash; have kept him alive despite this.  A good go-to guy when one wants to find something or someone unusual.
