*Bioroids are humanoid beings created using biogenesis. Most of their parts are biological, but some are not. A polymer or carbon scaffolding is often left in place as the frame on which the skeleton was built. Deeper differences from baseline human are easily apparent if their cells are examined. Much of the redundant junk DNA material is left out of Bioroids, and their tissues typically contain clusters of nanofactories that produce proteins or hormones the designers couldn't code into the genes, or which compensate for shortcuts. A newly awakened Bioroid is highly receptive to learning. They usually spend a full year in virtual reality training which produces a fully functional adult. Other mental traits such as workaholic and/or sense of duty are typically developed during this training. It can be combined with a upgrade template.
