==Complications==

Motivation: Doing Good. Dave really does want to help his friends and family, and he's very loyal to anyone who's been close to him.

Glaringly Gaijin: Some foreigners can blend in. Not Dave-- he's gigantic, not merely tall, but broad-shouldered and incredibly muscular. He has a thick accent, can't get the hang of local customs, and just can't manage to fit in no matter what he does.

Gentle Giant: Dave has been "the biggest and the strongest" for most of his life, and he had to learn at a young age to not hurt people and break things. As a result, he's normally very careful to not damage things or people, and will turn the other cheek to a lot of abuse if he's the only target.

Family Focused: Dave is very, very loyal to his family-- it's why he followed in his geeky father's footsteps and joined the SCA (albeit as a stick-jock) rather than the football team. His little sister, Jen, is 14 and highly impulsive. He needs to watch out for her... and if someone hurts her, all those carefully-built inhibitions about using his strength will go out the window in a flash.
