==Bio== Charlie Coglin, of the Jackdaw City Coglins, has always felt closer to machines than people. Machines make sense, where people are squishy, confusing, and generally unpleasant. This attitude has caused many issues in her lifetime but has opened doors that only a true technophile could fully appreciate. Apprenticed at a young age to the Black Sheep's prior engineer, Charlie has spent almost the entirety of her adult life on board. If you ask her, she'd have it no other way. Early in her shipboard service, Charlie began collecting scraps and parts that "talked to her." Like puzzle pieces without seeing the full picture, she didn't know how many she'd need, or what shape they'd ultimately become. Despite the uncertainty, she persisted in her strange habit, and piece by meticulous piece, she assembled Cam. Her dearest friend and loyal protector, Cam started small as a kitten and a hundred times as cute. The collection didn't stop, and neither did Cam's development. Cam grew over the years into a towering mass of clockwork and metal, his various tools equally adept at ruining flesh as they were repairing delicate machinery. When forced to defend Charlie, itself, or its crew (in that order) its many limbs and inhuman athleticism enable it to become the very embodiment of "ground and pound". Several years ago, relatively early into her crewmanship and before Cam was the physically imposing specimen it has now become, a particularly vicious pirate attack resulted in the death of her mentor and very nearly Charlie's own. Not physically imposing, Charlie nonetheless began dedicating time and effort to learning to defend herself from the predations of her least favorite animal: humans. While not a crack shot or expert duelist, she nonetheless knows which is the pointy end and where to stick it in order to protect her crew, vessel, and home. Recently the Black Sheep went through a rough Dust patch, was assaulted by flying creatures, and had taken extensive damage. Charlie didn't have time to get the supplies she'd needed to repair the extensive damage, and Cam was busy helping to fend off the creatures, when she just felt like the Black Sheep, her home and refuge, was calling out to her for help. She placed her trembling hand on the rent in the ship's otherwise beautiful hull and felt something flow through her. To her amazement, the rent began to shrink, as if the future hours of painstaking repairs happened in a span of seconds. This must be what Jinian and Malakai experience when the dust flows through them. She instantly felt closer to her crew, and more separate than ever from everyone else.
