The Circle's invasion of her island has disrupted her connection to it, destroying her earthly demesne and stranding her in Yu Shan. She has beseeched Hamoji and the other volcano gods for aid, but no help has been forthcoming. Decades is not long for a god but Pa'lua has been dispossessed for long enough that her stability is starting to tremble.
