Ara Muphrid is Cotar Ardares of the [[Order of the End of Knowledge]] - the living embodiment of Amilakh on the planet (she's probably one of several living embodiments of Amilakh given the number of sects on the planet, but that's beside the point).

Important things to know about Ara Muphrid:

Age:  65

* Military genius
* Anvil trained, not Iron trained.
* Controls the largest single Anvil force on the planet (not a majority, but the biggest single military faction)
* Has been trying since her arrival to unify the military of Nova Sparta. She tries persuasion/conversion first - if that fails she runs over you with a tank.  She has absolutely no concept of live and let live.  Everyone is either a) a loyal and trusted ally, or b) the enemy.  The SINGLE exception to this seems to be Minerva, who she seems to trust but whom she has not attempted to convert.
