It's a good thing Gertrude was born into money, because she's not really much of an actress, dancer, or singer. Competent enough in her own way, but she'll never be a star. She's big enough, in a handsome sort of way, to be able to fill in to the occasional male role.

She got involved with the post-Modern crowd in Paris for a few years, but has recently come back home to New England. She's performing here and there, drinking bootleg gin here and there, and trying to escape horrible, haunting nightmares.
