==Bio== Jessie Waite is the oldest, and only, child of their branch of the influential (in Marsden, at least) Waite family. Their father is the mayor's brother, their mother is from a wealthy Texan family. AFAB, Jessie's mother pointed them at traditionally feminine interests including music, dance and gymnastics. As they got older, Jessie became resentful about being pushed towards these activities. As a teenager, Jessie made three important realisations about themself. Firstly, that they are bisexual. Secondly, that most of their interests and hobbies had been selected for them by their mother. Thirdly, that they are non-binary. Increasingly unhappy about what they saw as being made to live someone else's life and trying to assert their own identity, they fought to drop many of "their" extra curricular activities as they worked out what they actually liked. On a family vacation to Europe, Jessie attended an under-18s night at a local clubs and fell in love with electronic music and DJing. Upon returning to Marsden it became an outlet for their frustration and something that they could pursue because ''they'' wanted to, rather than it being picked by Jessie's mom. This has become a fledgling career as Jessie makes a name for themself playing Marsden's clubs and college parties. As a member of the so-called First Families, it was almost inevitable that they would attend college somewhere; Jessie chose to stay close to home and attend Marsden College. Jessie came out as bisexual at 16 (which largely went well) and non-binary at 18 (which went less well); since commencing studies at Marsden College they have exclusively used They/Them pronouns.
