==Background== Write a brief history of your PC here. Jolanti...... Braided hair the colour of copper, he walks as if he owns the rubble. Afraid of no living man nor Troll. Tattooed copiously, the usual Pavic scenes complimenting a stasis rune across his chest, man rune upon his forehead and earth rune chequer work across both legs and arms. A voice unable to speak low unless waiting in ambush.... then the ancient mason hand signals suffice. A tap here, an angled fist there.... Asked to describe the giant of a man, most Real City folk will just mention two words 'Big Axe' and nod grimly, though if they like you they might add ''Bit of a gardener too" before returning to their work...... Named after the First Foe of Waha General Garngar, Jolanti earnt his nickname from the Real City Flintnail cultists the day he walked onto his first masonry job. Towering above all men by the age of 12 he quickly came to the attention of the Mayor. First came a stint with the Real city guards, becoming a true protector upon his Initiation. Singled out by Captain Kline he then went on to lead a 'Brick' of the newly formed RCAE. known for his trademark great axe the 'Eighteenth' foe of Waha, he is fearless in battle and canny in the way of the Rubble. Jolanti counts amongst his friends several Dwarven members of the Rubble trackers. Unusually for one so connected to Masonry and the Mostali, Jolanti has a great admiration and love of the Aldryami of the nearby garden. A lay member of the 'Children of the Garden' he is an active participant during the annual crop blessings. The Aldryami call him 'Dringi' , their own name for the giant Jolanti taken and turned by the elves in the forests near Aggar. During his infrequent spare time he tends a small allotment near his home and it has been a highlight of his religious career when a visiting elf blessed his garden two years ago upon joining their cult. A staunch worshipper of Pavis and especially Opilli, the guard is a true traditionalist, refusing to speak New Pavic and will always reply in Trade to outsiders. Through his twice weekly runs to the new city Jolanti has become a lay member of Issaries. He will support his cousin in everything unquestionably, sacrificing his life if need be. He doesn't know what to make of Ornin though. Married with 4 young sons, he of course lives in the Jolanti heights. His most recent son he has named Dropsin after his cousin and friend and plans to foster him to when he comes to age. Out spoken amongst his own, he is careful with strangers. He is at war continually, either with nomads or UZ. Trolls he has a grudging respect for and will even deal with them peacefully when needed....Nomads rarely.
