===Introduction=== Welcome, O Loyal Reader, to the Planet Earth. Only it is not the world you know... The world is a changed place. Ten years ago the Earth was invaded by a militant race known as the K'tharen. These monstrous aliens, hulking humanoids halfway between an alligator and a shark, nearly conquered the united peoples of Earth despite the combined force of their military and super-human protectors. In the darkest hour of need, with billions dead, the saviors came. The V'sori they called themselves, promising peace and rescue to all of the Earth's inhabitants. The broadcast the video of their ships annihilating the K'tharen (now known colloquially as Fins)invasion force. The people of Earth welcomed these saviors with open arms as they watched the last battle cruiser explode into tiny bits. The leaders of the all of the Earth's nations and all of the super heroes convened in Star City to welcome their rescuers. Five minutes before the alien envoy was to land, the orbital strike hit. In a single moment of V'sori treachery the Earth's protector's perished. The V'sori conquered the Earth within the hour. The K'tharen were not enemies at all, merely a slave race of warriors. The transmissions were fake, the meeting simply an excuse to crush any resistance. Who will save the Earth now? In our darkest hour we must turn to darker saviors: our Villains. Dr. Destruction, one of the greatest criminal masterminds, will not yield his would-be prize so easily. Uniting the former villains into cells, known as the Omegans, the last, he hopes to overthrow their alien conquerors. Earth's last hope is with the these villains, these rejects.
