== Description == Born of the despair of those trapped in cave-ins or collapsed buildings, who lasted for days only to die of starvation and thirst. The Forbidding Maw appears in our world as a giant, white leech over 7 meters long and over 3 meters wide. It never moves, sitting as a pulsating lump of flesh, one end trailing off into a thick, slimy tail while the mouth gapes to cover a doorway or fill the passage it is in. From the other side of that passage, the Maw is visible only as an impenetrable darkness and a slight damp, rotten odor. Before being mastered by Natsuko, nothing entering that passage would be seen again. Through the Maw is not a throat of flesh and blood, but a dank limestone cavern, ankle deep in water that has grown fetid with the rotting flesh and bones of past victims. The only light is brief flashes as new victims stumble in, the only food those who came before and are now too weak to fight. The Maw can not move or fight, but can appear instantly at any doorway, passage, or cavern mouth. It's victims are caught permanently, the passage opening and closing too fast to escape, but Natsuko can order it to hold the passage open to allow herself, and those she chooses, to enter and leave at will. The maw is brainless and normally just lies in wait for the foolish and unwary, but under Natsuko's orders it can teleport instantly before someone about to rush through a door or gate, hurling them helplessly into it's cavern. A person attacked this way will get a brief glimpse of the Maw in front of it, it's fleshy, toothless sphincter opening to let them in.
