==βFor those who are lost, there will always be cities that feel like home.β== Hephaestus, trying to outdo his mother's poor attempt at creating a child on her own (read: him) attempts the same feet himself out of spite. While unable to make a fully grown child, he does create a healthy, strong infant. At first pleased with his creation (he just had to wait a few decades and the child would be perfect), doubts began to fester. Hephaestus pictured his son getting bigger, stronger, healthier, better looking, more creative and eventually replacing the Forge god himself. With his thoughts getting a bit Cronus-y, Hephaestus left his son Jericho in the Washington, DC child welfare system with a bit of a curse on him to be a ward of the state until he turned 18. Jericho spent his whole youth in the system, but despite the rough upbringing, fell in love with his city and cities in general. Studying architecture and art, he excelled and has big plans to change how cities are built and operate so they work better for the people that live in them. Athletic, smart, handsome and personable Jericho is the opposite of his father in almost every way, except for their skill at creation. As he is making a name for himself, Hephaestus is forced to recon with the son he thought he would be able to forget. And his son's life has gotten stranger now that his father is coming to grips with the fact that he may have to acknowledge him Jericho of course loves DC's classical architecture and has a fondness for it, but also loves innovative designs and has a soft spot for Art-Deco.
