=History= The man who would become Determination of Mountains was born the child of barbarians in the jungles of the southeast; his father had captured his mother in a raid, and were killed by her brothers in retaliation. As a youth, he was a raider, attacking both rival bands and the settlements of the civilized, and bringing back men and women to be sacrificed to the god his people served. It was while he lead a raid that he Exalted, when false scouts brought him against three times his number; he prepared to meet his ancestors, but instead was given a vision from Sol Invictus himself. In one hand, the great god held a jaguar; in the other, the sunburst. "By these signs, conquer," he was told; "by these signs, rule." The enemy that did not run were cut down, and the town and its riches--meager though they were--were taken. Instead of sacrifice, though, he fought the god that claimed dominion; defeated it, drove it out, killed its speaker and its son. He promised protection and safety to anyone who would swear fealty to him, and he began to rule. But he moved too openly, and too fast, and the Realm heard of his burgeoning kingdom. The Wyld Hunt came to his doorstep, and began their killing. His warriors were defeated, his people slaughtered, and he ran. The ones who chased, he killed, but he could not defeat them then. He fled north, traveling hundreds of miles, and setting things right along his way. That was years ago. He is not as young as he was. He has found his body from another life, and took what was rightfully his. And soon, he will forge his kingdom, and damn any who would try and stop him.
