Naval troops are all identical to land troops in stats and costs. The difference being that sailors are half power on land and normal troops half power on water troops can be trained as both though at increased cost.

Jing Li is doing this for Hu Gate. 

Each mounted unit is 60 troopers. A Platoon is .25 Unit, or 15 troopers. Each MC trooper needs 2 silver in arms and armor, a medium warhorse (12.5 silver) and a riding horse (7.5 silver). 1320 silver gets arms, armor, and horses for a unit of mounted. A heavy war horse is 35 silver, if they can be found.

Those horse costs are for a trained horse. Untrained horses are 1/2 price but require a trainer. Need one trainer per unit. Kou Ji-Hun can train 45 horses a month. 1 platoon for his level x number of times he's taken the proficiency

Stables and herds count as domain improvements. 

Foot troops require 2 months to learn to ride and have the basic formations down. 

Veteran foot troops can be converted into veteran mounted troops as long as it's not a demotion.

10% of the money spent on horses counts toward improving your stable/herd
